Terms of Service

The Service is for people 18 or older and is intended for business and professional use.

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Rasyn extracts structured data from documents you submit and returns outputs (for example JSON, fields, and confidence scores). Benchpress lets you run the same documents against Rasyn and selected third-party vendors so you can compare results.

The Service is provided as cloud software. On-prem or air-gapped deployments, if offered, are only under a separate written agreement.

Outputs are statistical. They can be incomplete, incorrect, or inconsistent across runs. You must review outputs before you rely on them. The Service is not legal, medical, financial, or compliance advice, and it is not a substitute for a human review process.

Paid access is sold on a credit basis. Credits are consumed per operation (typically per page). Rates are shown before you run a job where the product supports that, and otherwise in product documentation.

• Free plan. Monthly credit allowance. No payment card required. Processing stops when the allowance is used. Allowance resets each cycle. No rollover.
• Paid plans (Starter, Plus, Pro). Subscription billed monthly or annually in advance at the prices on the pricing page. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance and a retention window (Section 7). Allowance credits expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over.
• Top-up credits. Purchased credits that do not expire and have no cash value. Top-ups are non-refundable.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to the account email. The new price applies from the next renewal.
• Taxes. Prices exclude taxes, which may be added where required.
• Merchant of record. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record. Dodo's terms also apply to the payment itself. Failed payments may be retried; if they continue to fail we may downgrade the account to Free or suspend paid features.

Cancel from the account billing page or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Fees, unused allowance credits, and top-up credits are non-refundable, except where Indian law requires a refund. There is no prorated refund for mid-cycle cancellation. A failed job may return reserved credits to your balance; that is not a money refund.

"Your Content" means documents, images, text, prompts, metadata, and other material you submit, and the outputs we generate from that material for you.

You retain your rights in the material you upload. To the extent we have rights in outputs generated for you, we assign those rights to you, subject to these Terms and to third-party rights in any underlying content. Outputs may not be unique. Other users may receive similar outputs.

You grant Rasyn a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to:

• provide the Service to you
• secure, debug, and maintain the Service
• comply with law
• improve models, as described in Section 6

You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to submit Your Content, including personal data of third parties that appears in the documents.

We may use Your Content, including documents you upload and outputs we generate for you, to operate, evaluate, and improve the Service, including to train and test our models.

Opt-out. Email [email protected] from your account email with the subject line Training opt-out. We will stop using that account's Content for model training on a going-forward basis. Opt-out does not apply to:

• processing required to run your jobs
• aggregated or de-identified operational metrics (latency, error rates, page counts, feature usage)
• documents you send to third-party vendors through Benchpress (Section 8)

We may still use opt-out accounts' de-identified usage metrics to run the Service.

Unless a plan or a written agreement says otherwise:

There is no self-serve account deletion yet. Email [email protected] from your account email to request deletion. We complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for law, dispute, or billing.

Benchpress compares documents across Rasyn and third-party OCR / intelligent-document vendors you select (for example Reducto, Landing AI, or others we list in the product).

• Documents processed by Rasyn are processed under these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
• Documents sent to a third-party vendor are processed by that vendor as an independent controller or service provider under that vendor's terms and privacy policy. Rasyn does not control how those vendors train models, retain files, or handle personal data.
• By starting a comparison job you instruct us to transmit the selected documents to the vendors you chose, and you confirm you have the right to do that.
• Do not run Benchpress on documents you are not allowed to share with those vendors.
• Rasyn is not responsible for vendor downtime, quality, security, training practices, or residual copies those vendors keep.
• A vendor's appearance in Benchpress is not an endorsement and is not an offer of that vendor's contract.

If a vendor requires its own clickwrap, you must accept it before we can send that vendor your files. If you do not accept, we will not send those files to that vendor.

You may upload documents that contain health information, government identifiers, financial data, or other sensitive data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents from the people in those documents.

Rasyn processes that material as a processor on your instructions for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not offer a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, or equivalent sector addenda, except under a separate enterprise agreement.

Do not use the Service where a sector rule forbids the transfer or processing involved (including transfers described in the Privacy Policy) unless you have a written agreement with us that covers it.

Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

You may not:

• use the Service unlawfully, or submit content that is unlawful to possess or share
• upload malware, or probe, scan, or breach the Service
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract models, weights, or source code
• resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties as a standalone product without our written agreement
• share API keys across organisations, or create multiple accounts to evade limits
• use the Service, outputs, or Benchpress results to build a competing document-processing product, except that Benchpress comparisons for your internal vendor selection are allowed
• publish benchmarks of Rasyn without our prior written permission
• interfere with other customers' use of the Service

We may suspend access immediately if we reasonably believe your use threatens the Service, other customers, or the law. We will tell you why when we can.

The Service, software, models, documentation, design, and the Rasyn and Benchpress names and logos belong to Rasyn and its licensors. Apart from the licence in Section 10, you receive no rights in them.

Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis at [email protected].

We may send transactional and account email to your account address (verification, security, billing, service changes, and product updates that affect how the Service works). Payment receipts may also come from Dodo Payments. You can unsubscribe from non-essential product email where the message allows it. Transactional mail cannot be turned off while the account exists.

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, unique, or fit for a regulated workflow.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rasyn and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 10,000 if you have paid us nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will defend and indemnify Rasyn against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content, your use of Benchpress to send documents to third-party vendors, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of law or third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including 5–8, 11, and 13–18) survive termination.

We may change the Service and these Terms. For material changes we will update the effective date and, where reasonable, email the account address. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request deletion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Before filing a claim, email [email protected] with a description of the dispute and allow 30 days for an informal resolution.

If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration is New Delhi. The language is English. A sole arbitrator will be appointed by agreement, or in default as provided by the Act.

Subject to that arbitration agreement, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief and enforcement of an award.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale. These Terms are the entire agreement for the Service and supersede prior terms for the same Service. Enterprise or order-form terms control if they conflict.
